Job duties:
Participate in the design, implementation and ongoing management for data and database
infrastructure tooling and operations. Serve as on-call escalation contact for relevant
database/data issues. Design optimizations to meet the scalability and performance needs of
the organization. Enhance existing monitoring and reliability metrics across our database/data
platforms. Operate as the company's primary SQL database administrator. Troubleshoot
performance issues related to CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other types of resource
contention.
Job requirements
Job requirements include a U.S. or foreign Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered, Data Administrator, Database Engineer and experience with CI/CD processes and infrastructure, Microsoft SQL Server Administration, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and Powershell.
