Implements and modifies credit policies and underwriting guidelines that determine
approval/decline decision, pricing, and loan limit. Makes recommendations for modifications
and improvements; Manages risks to originate loans with industry leading return and resiliency
for capital partners, while continuing to drive asset growth. Partners with data scientists on
credit risk scoring model development, evaluation, and implementation; Leads credit bureau
and alternative data research, business case design, and cost-benefit analysis. Identifies
performance trends, monitors risk KPIs, and manages over/under performing segments to
improve loan quality and/or asset growth. Influences end-to-end borrower acquisition process,
balancing risk, profitability, and customer experience; Conducts risk assessments, collects and
analyzes documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends. Drafts and presents risk reports
and proposals to Happy Money executive leadership and senior staff; Supports presentations
to Happy Money executive leadership team and investor community to succinctly communicate
portfolio performance and recommend strategies; Leads team of analysts and influence
cross-functionally to see initiatives to execution.
Job requirements include a U.S. MBA degree or foreign equivalent in Analytics and Strategy, or related Quantitative field and 2 years experience as Business Analyst, Sr. Business Analyst; Analyst Manager, or Director of Strategy and Analytics, or similar position.
