DUTIES: Perform general bookkeeping/accounting duties to keep company’s financial records complete and accurate. Process and reconcile financial statements, month-end closing reports, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Oversee patient billing and collection. Assist in resolving financial claims and issues with insurance carriers. Review, process and submit payroll information and reporting. Prepare and maintain budget, financial statements, and other reports as may be required by the Medical Doctor. Prepare 1099s and assist the external accountant with the year-end closing/audit and preparation of annual tax returns. Maintain complete and organized files of accounting records. Provide recommendation to management for the improvement of office systems and control.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related, plus one (1) year of accounting, finance, bookkeeping or related experience.
Must also have education or experience:
- MS Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Reconciling balance sheets and accounts;
- Handling accounts receivables/payables, bank reconciliations, and other accounting functions; and
- Preparing regular financial reports/statements.
