Job Duties:
1. PLAN, DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT ALL TRAINING AND CLINICAL SKILL-BUILDING ACTIVITIES RELATED TO MAINTENANCE OF THE COMPANY’S HEALTHCARE STAFF STANDARDS AND CONTINUING HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAM.
2. CONSULT WITH NURSE DIRECTORS AND LICENSED DOCTORS TO DEVELOP EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO ASSESS AND IMPROVE THE CLINICAL SKILLS AND TRAINING NEEDS OF NEW AND EXISTING HEALTHCARE EMPLOYEES OF THE COMPANY.
3. ESTABLISH APPROPRIATE CURRICULUM OF TRAINING, SEMINARS, PROCEDURES AND MANUALS FOR THE ANNUAL SURVEY AND NURSING REINFORCEMENT TRAINING REQUIRED BY STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS.
4. PREPARE A SYLLABUS OF THE COURSE MATERIALS FOR THE HEALTH WORKERS OF THE COMPANY, WHICH WILL OUTLINE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING, THE METHODOLOGIES TO BE USED AND THE EXPECTED RESULTS ON BASIC TO ADVANCED NURSING MANAGEMENT, WOUND MANAGEMENT, SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE, CASE MANAGEMENT, DISCHARGE PLANNING, HEALTHCARE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, COMPLIANCE REGULATIONS, PROPER USE OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND INSTRUMENTS.
5. COORDINATE PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL STAFF IN IMPLEMENTING HEALTH PROGRAMS, OBJECTIVES, AND GOALS OF THE COMPANY.
6. COLLABORATE WITH HEALTH SPECIALISTS, AND NURSES TO DETERMINE COMPANY HEALTH NEEDS AND THE AVAILABILITY OF HEALTH SERVICES TO DEVELOP GOALS FOR EFFICIENT DEVELOPMENT AND DELIVERY OF THE COMPANY’S HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAMS.
7. THE HEALTH EDUCATOR WILL PERFORM THE ABOVE DUTIES WITHOUT DIRECT CLINICAL CARE AND/OR EVALUATION OF PATIENTS.
