JOB DUTIES:

Plan, direct, and coordinate the leasing of commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate properties. Act as liaisons between property owners (principals) and tenants (clients) to establish and maintain good relationship between the parties. Represent the principals and the team with welcoming new clients, including assisting with data entry in AppFolio and assessing the property.  Assist the leasing manager in preparing and sending weekly leasing reports to property owners. Routinely perform property management reporting as well as quarterly reviews of property performance based on established parameters. Assist the leasing department in marketing vacant units by updating and reviewing various listings. Provide the accounting department with information and/or documents related to the property’s financial transactions on an “as needed” basis; assist the team in coordinating, preparing, and sending rent increase notices. Assist the maintenance department in handling, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting day-to-day maintenance requests from tenants and owner. Assist the Unit Make Ready (UMR) department in handling, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting make-ready proposal, work status and completion with the owner. Monitor and oversee property compliance with various regulatory requirements. Handle and coordinate tenancy issues such as eviction, relocation, habitability, and emergencies related to health, fire, flood, police activities, etc. Communicate and coordinate with the leasing department regarding lease renewals, tenants’ work order requests, complaints, and other related concerns. Schedule property visits/inspections at least twice a year.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma/GED or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of property management, leasing, guest relations, or other customer service-related experience.
