Job Duties:
Interpret engineering sketches, specifications and drawings, to ensure adherence to safety rules and practices; Assist engineers to design, develop, test, or manufacture industrial machinery, consumer products, or other equipment; Design specialized or customized equipment, machines, or structures, to identify opportunities for improvements in quality, cost, or efficiency of automation equipment; Prepare layouts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, or systems, such as shop tooling, scale layouts, or new equipment design, using drafting equipment or computer-related design (CAD) software, related to the generation, transmission, or use of mechanical or fluid energy; Monitor manufacturing processes to identify ways to reduce losses, decrease time requirements, or improve quality; Perform load calculations; including execution and translation of conceptual design layout to autocad format.
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
