JOB DUTIES:
Direct engineering, building, and modernizing of the next generation of highly scalable core platform services and systems that support the company's Continuous Accounting Platform. Develop and engineer API gateway, developer portal, authentication, messaging, rules engine, workflow orchestration, search, reporting and integration frameworks. Direct migration of existing applications to a modern, cloud-first scalable microservices based architecture. Lead, motivate, challenge, and build out platform engineering team. Collaborate with application developers, Product Management, Customer Implementation teams, and customers to collect,clarify, and analyze needs and define/refine platform strategy. Design and implement highly scalable distributed core services that address the common concerns of application developers. Build a common data backplane for asynchronous and scalable interoperation of services and data stores.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: U.S. or Foreign Masters or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field. 2 years experience as Director of Engineering, Director Software Development, Technology Lead, Sr. Software Engineer, Software Engineer or related capacity.
