Job Duties:

Responsible and accountable for the management and administration of the facility in compliance with applicable law and regulation. Responsible for the implementation of budget for all services including program needs, food, transportation, laundry, etc., Responsible for compliance of Title 22 CCL regulations and communication with Community Care Licensing representatives. Ensure compliance with all city, state and Federal laws governing abuse reporting, client care and labor laws. Reports to the licensee on the operation of the facility. Assist the administrator in the development, implementation, and documentation of all staff training. Responsible that care and supervision of clients are implemented in accordance with clients’ needs as documented in the pre-admission assessment. Ensure that nutritional and health needs of all clients are met. In charge of the assessment and re-assessment of all clients including conducting interviews of the client and/or responsible parties. Ensure that clients have the opportunity to participate in community activities that promote well-being and independence. Assist the Administrator in the implementation of the client’s individual service plan (ISP) and individual program plan (IPP) goals. Maintain inventory of supplies. Records and documents clients’ medications.

Education Requirement Bachelor’s Degree in any medical-related field.

Education or Experience must include:

  • Knowledge or understanding medical skills like diagnosis, medication dosage, purpose and side effects.
  • Knowledge and understanding of side effects of medication in patients such as weight fluctuations, seizure and other symptoms.
  • Knowledge of basic medical language and terms.
  • Knowledge of Title 22 CCL.
