JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop specialized applications in Python to handle calculation, analysis, import, export, organization and display of large amounts of financial data. Combine and reduce existing applications into centralized source modules. Work with Python DataFrames, and perform test on Python applications. Work with and interface with Bloomberg Terminal software and Bloomberg API. Develop and maintain databases to support financial asset trading and analysis tools. Run processes to maintain data coherence and accuracy using existing tools and processes. Assist in design and implementation of databases and SSIS based data loaders to integrate new data sources. Assist in development of tools to streamline the creation of data association mappings between disparate data sets. Support team needs with ad hoc data research and reporting. Assist in administration tasks for production and development servers. Create Python applications to perform direct data pulls from SQL databases and organize raw financial data in DataFrames for further analysis and calculations. Visualize financial data with Bokeh.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
US or foreign Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information or related field.
