Job Duties:
Manage the deployment, monitoring, fleet management, data collection, and data analysis of distributed fleets on hardware devices. Drive ongoing enhancements and support to existing hardware/IOT fleet deployment and data collection systems, including building and deploying, ETL data analytics, and data visualization. Work with business and product leadership to drive the definition of reporting needs, identify and resolve data collection gaps by defining solutions and working with other engineering leaders to ensure end-t-end solutions are in place. Lead data discovery, data modeling, and predictive analytics efforts. Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, product managers, and other engineers to define hardware and data intelligence project goals, milestones, and deliverables. Ensure that production systems are well monitored, instrumented, and analyzed to ensure performance and availability. Contribute to the development of embedded hardware and associated firmware for deployment to remote customer sites. Drive identification, diagnosis, and resolution of issues. Share best practices in data engineering and analytics across the organization. Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
Educational Requirements
U.S. or foreign Masters or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, or related field, including coursework in embedded operating systems, wireless sensor networks, and digital signal processing.
