Job Duties:
Support the oversight and management of our Consumer Lending programs ensuring a policy and infrastructure that supports credit risk management. Review and challenge the current credit policy underwriting criteria; recommend changes to existing underwriting policies. Conduct independent validation and monitoring of portfolio and vintage level loan performance compared to projections. Research and identify drivers for variance. Recommend and execute changes to Management. Conduct complex research projects and statistical/financial models in programs such as account acquisitions and management, collections, fraud and operations. Collaborate with Data Scientists and Business Intelligence to establish requirements for credit risk strategies and management reporting to monitor performance at portfolio segment, vintage and account levels to identify positive and negative trends such as improved portfolio quality. Work closely with colleagues across the company including Marketing and Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Risk Management, Technology and Operations to drive improvement in analytical quality, credit results and profitability.
