Job Duties:
Direct the preparation of imperial Beijing-style dim sum cuisine items for a fine-dining Chinese restaurant, including responsibility for the creation and modification of menu items; the review and approval of prepared food items; the monitoring and coordination of kitchen operations so as to ensure quality, efficiency and consistency of food preparation; the training and mentoring of lower-level chefs and kitchen personnel; the ordering of required supplies and inventory; and the reporting to management of any quality control, staffing and kitchen operations issues or requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Two (2) years experience in the job offered, or as a Dim Sum Pastry Chef, Dim Sum Pasta Chef, or other related position, including experience hand making Chinese-style dim sum dishes.
