Job Duties:
Ensure the effective and timely completion of projects. Responsible for filing and obtaining all necessary permits and licenses for construction and development of hotel projects. Distribute
all short intervals and overall project schedules, review drawings, specifications, and trade contracts. Collaborate with architects, engineers, design consultants and other construction
specialists. Explain final construction drawings and other technical information to other construction professionals and contractors. Monitor submittals, track deliveries of materials, and
review project logs (Request for Information {RFIs}, submittals, Potential Change Order {PCOs}, plan documents). Analyze subcontractor changes for review, complete quantity take-offs
and verify all submittal conformity to plans and specifications. Assist in planning, scheduling and coordinating construction project activities to meet deadlines. Prepare contracts and
negotiating revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients and suppliers. Coordinate with the Architect of Record {AOR}, Engineer of Record {EOR} and other
construction specialists to ensure proper implementation of the design intent by the sub-contractors for the involved project. Managing and collaborating with the design team for clash
detections and refining construction drawings with the use of BIM, to mitigate problems on the construction site. Responsible for inspecting and reviewing projects to monitor compliance
with building and safety codes and other regulations with various departments of the Authority having jurisdiction. Responsible for collecting all required close out documents for
certification, obtaining Temporary Certificate of Occupancy {TCO} and Certificate of Occupancy from the Authority Having Jurisdiction {AHJ}, as well as ensuring the construction meets all
brand standards required for the type of hotel construction.
Special Requirements:
US or foreign masters degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field including coursework in construction planning and construction method
improvement
