JOB DUTIES:
Assist in overseeing multiple construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and/or coordinating construction project activities to meet deadlines. Organize and track all Contract Drawings, Submittal Drawings, RFIS, and Change Orders in Fabtrol Software system. Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction needs and prepare and oversee all submittals, RFIS, and Change Orders for assigned Projects. Attend all Subcontractor Meetings to help coordinate projects with customers and other trades. Work with Operations Manager and Field Manager on coordinating all installation efforts to ensure compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations. Quickly and efficiently respond to customers queries, as needed. Determine project priorities and labor requirements in relation to project needs and plan construction activities to meet timelines. Help sequence and coordinate deliveries to jobsite by working with Field Manager, Shop Manager, and Operations Manager. Assist with Job Quality Control by reviewing submittal drawings before processed and sent to Customer for review. Perform pre-building assessments by acquiring field dimensions for accurate fabrication. Initiate and complete necessary paperwork needed for jobsite specific security, safety, and access. Monitor and direct material procurement for fabrication.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, plus two (2) years of project engineering, project management or related experience in the construction industry. This position also requires education or experience in: (a) AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software; (b) Site planning; (c) Electrical project design; (d) Preparing bill of materials, operation/maintenance manuals, and project documentation and management reports; and (e) Project site supervision, including quality control, safety and scheduling
