Job Duties:
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations
to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Prepare adjusting journal
entries. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment,
reporting, or other tax requirements. Prepare financial statements and accompanying footnote
disclosures. Review federal and state tax returns for individuals and various different types of
business entities. Responsible for the payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank
reconciliation and financial statements. Prepare compilation reports. Analyze financial
information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepare balance sheet, profit and loss
statement, and other reports to summarize financial position of a company. Compile and
analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts
documenting business transactions. Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial
information and prepare financial reports. Ensure that clients comply with periodic tax
payments, information reporting, and other tax requirements. Research and analyze of
accounting and tax issues as they arise.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related; 5 years experience as an Accountant or related field.
