Plan, initiate, and coordinate multiple information technology (IT) projects for the company. Coordinate the day-to-day activities for each project, including attending strategic (kick-off, design, review, etc.) meetings, identifying and allocating needed resources, communicating estimated milestones, and reviewing deliverables across projects prior to deployment. Assess client goals and priorities and transform them into compelling, usable, and meaningful abstract and detailed designs to determine project profitability. Develop and implement technical procedures, documentation, and standard policies for each project. Create, execute and/or update project work plans to ensure that they adhere to technical requirements and able to meet changing needs and requirements. Perform QA testing and client review in accordance with company standards to ensure successful execution of consulting engagements, as measured by project goals and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with team members and key stakeholders to ensure that business and technical requirements are met. Administer project budget, including analyzing project profitability, revenues, margins, bill rates, and utilization. Monitor project invoicing and receivables and coordinate with client, as needed. Track and monitor team hours and expenses on a weekly basis. Monitor scope of expenses to minimize and mitigate company exposure/risk across projects. Recognize system deficiencies and implement creative and effective solutions to address any given technical problem. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with the development team. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, plus one (1) year of technical project management, program management, software engineering, or related experience. Must also have experience in: designing, developing and implementing complex IT/software systems; IT troubleshooting and maintenance; and recommending hardware/software upgrades to existing programs/systems.
