Job Duties:
Develop graphic design concepts, detailed representations of architectural projects, with the creation of computer and presentation materials. Oversee the production of design deliverables, construction drawings and daily maintenance duties to keep architectural projects on schedule. Develop Construction Documents, including technical detailing, and contract documents, using computer software such as using 3D modeling software, as well as presentation software. Determine context and socio-cultural dimension of a site to develop an architectural project in relationship with its environment. Research agency codes and requirements, material specifications and design inspiration. Evaluate national and local building codes, presentation and construction drawing conventions, and typical construction practices to inform the design. Engage in engineer consultant coordination, as well as Construction Administration tasks, including working with contractors, performing site visits and reviewing progression of project construction. Interface with clients and the management team, ensuring that designs for architectural projects are developed and produced to targeted and exact goals.
Minimum Requirements:
U.S. or foreign Master’s or equivalent degree in Architecture or a related field, with coursework in Architectural and Urban Project, Architectural Design, and Contemporary Architecture
