Position: Valuation Associate, Private Debt

Duties:

Responsible for valuing fund investments with a focus on direct lending investments. Perform research and analysis of credit agreements and other investment documents for senior secured loans to middle market companies, collecting and summarizing key investment terms and loan covenants. Conduct research and analysis of investments including private credit, private equity, CLOs, and private funds. Build, implement, and maintain valuation models for investments in company’s investment funds. Liaise with each co-investment counterparty to collect and understand investment valuation inputs and other valuation documentation. Independently reconcile loan inputs, valuations, and terms generated from internal models to communicate to externally provided data sources and to calculate end-of-day net asset values (NAV). Monitor daily changes in the market, S&P/LSTA Leveraged Loan Index, and Russell 3000 Total Return Index to identify potential changes in valuation inputs. Proactively monitor internal and investment partner communications to stay informed on information that may affect valuations.

Requirements:

U.S. or foreign Master’s or equivalent degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with coursework in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Analysis and Valuation, and Quantitative Investing.
