Job Duties:

Senior leadership role with overall accountability for planning and developing all airport operations for The Private Suite. Enable operational business recovery post-Covid 19, working with TPS Departments and senior management for airports, airlines, government agencies, law enforcement, contractors and suppliers. Serve as a senior-level managerial advisor, providing expert advice and recommendations to the CEOs and stakeholders in relation to existing and future VIP operations. Market research and strategy to identify other airport locations for future TPS expansion.  Produce content as a lead author for the imminent bid to establish a TPS facility at Miami International Airport (MIA) and for future development bids. Attend site visits and qualification interviews managing the design and development of future TPS airport VIP operations and facilities, working closely with stakeholders to create fully compliant and commercially viable operations at those locations.  Produce detailed operations and security plans, \Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for TPS at all locations.  Fulfill the role of General Manager during construction, opening and in the initial stages of operation at each future location, creating and leading high performing teams in operational planning and logistics.  Oversee staff recruitment and training, working with the new teams to set and monitor service standards at each new location. Handling complex and often sensitive customer issues, manage all construction project activities and delivery within budget, scope, operational design, construction, operational readiness and transition (ORAT). Working with architects, designers, regulatory authorities, airport departments, suppliers and general contractors.  In anticipation of the LA2028 Olympics & Paralympic Games the applicant will be required to work with event organizers, sponsors, and airports to identify and develop business opportunities for TPS and to assist airports and government agencies in mitigating the impact of these events and handling the complexities of diverse VIP service requirements.

Travel details:  30% of time to other airports within the US

Special Requirements: 20 years experience  progressively responsible in airport operations, including experience in airport VIP operations, including experience interfacing with TSA, CPB and Airport Security, and experience in the application of 49 CFR airport/aviation related provisions, including Sections 1542 through 1544, and experience working with olympic and paralympic organizations protocol departments regarding VIP services.
